CEO's Message
Thank you for visiting our website.
The FUJITA GROUP has garnered popularity over the years through Fujita Kazuo Shoten’s TV commercial, especially in the Tokushima Prefecture. I’ve been featured in that commercial since I was about 10 years old. The company began brewing and selling soy sauce and miso in 1872, switched industries to sales of solid fuels such as firewood, charcoal, briquettes and pea coals, as well as to LP gas retailing, and finally incorporated in 1964. After implementing various types of businesses thereafter, I succeeded the company from the predecessor in 2014.
As Japan's aging population begun to accelerate in recent years, we will fulfill our corporate social responsibility by creating a society that promotes comfortable lifestyle for the young and elderly, and for the children without being bound by gender and nationality. With the solid foundation of the three C’s (Challenge, Change, Choice) inherited from our predecessors, we will continue to further evolve as a company of choice by taking on various challenges, and continuing to reform our corporate culture.
All of our staff share the common goal of serving as a partner for promoting safe, secure and comfortable lifestyle by constantly enhancing our products and services, and presenting an offer that suits the customer’s specifications and budget. We aim to become a company that is cherished by the local community, and can transmit our deepest desires and superior technologies of Japan from Tokushima to the world!
Corporate Philosophy
Our mission is to cultivate a “heartfelt relationship" between our customers, business partners, local citizens and our employees to provide safe, reliable and convenient services in the spirit of a neighborhood gas station that solves various problems and spread Japan's excellent technology and knowledge to the world.

Declaration of Consumer Aspirations
Corporate Philosophy
Our mission is to cultivate a “heartfelt relationship" between our customers, business partners, local citizens and our employees to provide safe, reliable and convenient services in the spirit of a neighborhood gas station that solves various problems and spread Japan's excellent technology and knowledge to the world.
01.Top management commitment
As Japan's aging population begun to accelerate in recent years, we will fulfill our corporate social responsibility by creating a society that promotes comfortable lifestyle for the young and elderly, and for the children without being bound by gender and nationality. With the solid foundation of the three C’s (Challenge, Change, Choice) inherited from our predecessors, we will continue to further evolve as a company of choice by taking on various challenges, and continuing to reform our corporate culture.
02.Ensuring corporate governance
- We remind our employees in daily morning assembly, employee trainings, and general meetings to truly understand the priorities and meaning of safety, reliability, and convenience as part of the employee regulations and make sure that we comply with laws in providing the right service.
- At our annual policy presentation, the group representative announces the company's financial condition and shares the short-term and medium to long-term growth strategy with all employees.
- By sharing customers' feedback and requests in real time on our internal social network, we aim to raise the awareness of all employees, quickly improve upon our services and products, and strive to become the preferred company of choice.
- Provide thorough vehicle maintenance and traffic compliance through our operation management.
- We wear company uniforms and carry employee ID cards to identify ourselves when interacting with customers.
03.Proactive employee activities (Development of corporate culture and employee awareness)
- We hold an internal event “Arigato☆” once a month to provide opportunity for employees to express their gratitude to each other. We will continue to provide better services to our customers through mutual appreciation and cooperation.
- In the spirit of a neighborhood gas station, we actively call out to customers during meter reading, delivering, and phone calls. We always listen to our customers and do our best to solve their problems.
- Regardless of good or bad news, by sharing various information with all employees through internal social network, we strive to reform and improve our mindset by raising awareness instead of ending up in ignorance.
- We actively participate in CSR activities such as blood donations, cleaning up the Yoshino River coast through the Adopt Program, and sending relief supplies to Africa through the Motherland Academy International Support Project to remind us that contribution to the society is always part of our daily corporate culture.
04.Enhancement of information provision and two-way communication with customers.
- We enhance our website, SNS, and e-mail distribution to constantly send out the latest information on products, services, and company initiatives.
- We offer telephone consultation as well as email, website and social network that are easy-to-access for all ages and lifestyles. We also actively listen and respond to customer inquiries and feedback.
- In order to ensure the safety, reliability and convenience of our service, we will be fully responsible for explaining the operation method of the equipment when turning on and off the gas and also during safety inspections.
- We publish a PR magazine "Ganbari Newspaper" once a year to introduce our group's themes and initiatives to the customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
05.Improve and develop products and services based on consumer and social needs
- As talents and work styles become more diverse, we are expanding our system to increase diversity and secure various talents.
- In terms of recruitment, we are actively recruiting foreign nationals and "UIJ-turn" migration employees, and we also provide living infrastructure, such as shared houses and car sharing, so they have a stable life after moving to the area.
- We have established an on-site childcare center (a company-led childcare facility) for the local residents, and are expanding the environment in which the child-rearing generation can play an active role.
- Through our diverse talents, we aim to provide products, services, and prices that emphasize the results of the two-way communication with our diverse customer base. We will make every effort to increase the transparency of gas prices, so that we can continue to serve our customers as a partner who provide safe, reliable, and convenient living.
- Utilizing the rich and diverse industries and business types unique to the group company, we aim to "provide customers with optional prices, products and services" and "become the first choice company for customers".
- As our business facilities are certified as disaster prevention bases, we established a system that can contribute to local residents, from maintenance and management, food distribution support, disaster prevention practices, stockpiling of emergency gas appliances, and providing emergency kits and support for various disaster prevention measures.
